A wind-noise reducing, fur-type windscreen and super-directional monaural mic (ECM-XM1) are provided in this kit.

Automatic Noise Clampdown

An innovative shock and vibration conquering design efficiently minimises low-frequency handling noise which can reduce audio quality. The option for straight on-camera mounting, without extra joining cables, further diminishes the risk of handling noise corrupting your audio capture.

 Cable-Free Connection

Just clip the XLR adaptor into the Multi Interface Shoe on a companionable camera for straight power and audio contacts short of the necessity for additional cables or batteries. Sony’s Multi Interface Shoe delivers smart connectivity and control for a diversity of accessories, providing supreme adaptability and agility for α system shooting.

Adaptable Setup & Connectivity

A high degree of adaptability is offered for use with expert rigs and camera cages.
Audio extension cables are provided, allowing the location of the XLR adaptor to be changed as necessary.

2 XLR/TRS combo jacks and a 3.5 mm stereo mini mic jack are provided for input. The XLR/TRS combo jacks are switchable for Mic input with 48V phantom power, Mic input and line input.

Excellent Sound With Little Noise

When linked via the Multi Interface Shoe of a compatible camera that features a built-in digital audio interface, the audio signal is directly transferred to the camera in digital form with no degradation. A modest switch also delivers compatibility with an extensive range of cameras utilising an analogue interface.
