The Laowa Proteus 2x Anamorphic 28 & 100mm T2 Lens Bundle from Venus Optics comprises two cinema lenses for capturing high-definition video with 2x anamorphic squeeze on cameras with S35+ sensors, such as the ALEXA 35 and RED V-RAPTOR. These anamorphic primes feature interchangeable PL and EF lens mounts, focus marks in feet, an aperture range of T2 to T22, 10 iris blades, a 2x anamorphic squeeze, a 114mm outer diameter, a 105mm front filter thread, and amber lens flares. Each lens has an ARRI PL lens mount that can be swapped out for the included EF mount bayonet, and the lenses come in a hard case.

It features a focal length of 100mm, interchangeable PL and EF lens mounts, an aperture range of T2 to T22 for a deep depth of field, 10 iris blades for a shallow depth of field and soft bokeh, and a 2x anamorphic squeeze to capture a vintage, cinema-style anamorphic look. Using an optional 1.4x full-frame expander adapter, Proteus lenses can also cover a full-frame sensor.

The 28mm prime lens has a minimum focus distance of 18.9″ and offers anamorphic qualities such as high contrast, amber lens flares, and a 85.6° horizontal field of view.
