Introducing the Laowa Proteus Flex 28mm T2 2X Anamorphic Lens. This unique lens offers a user interchangeable flare feature, making it highly flexible and economical for any production. With its modular design, the Proteus Flex provides 4 different flare options – amber, silver, blue, and clear – to suit your specific needs. By default, the lens comes in silver flare.
In addition to the colored flare versions, the Proteus Flex also includes a new flare coating called Clear Flare. This coating produces minimal horizontal flare, perfect for cinematographers desiring a cleaner and more elegant look. The flare module can be effortlessly installed, swapped, and screw-locked into the precision crafted main Proteus body. This interchangeable process takes just 10 minutes and does not require any further optical calibration.
