The Sony HXRNX5R professional camcorder comes with 3x 1/2.8″ CMOS Exmor sensors and a 20x optical zoom Sony G lens with 40x Clear Image Zoom. The camera allows for capturing of professional audio with two XLR inputs that support Line, mic, and mic +48. The Slow & Quick Motion function enables 1080p recording at selectable frame rates.
The Sony NX5R camera has HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs as well as WiFi and FTP allow you to send footage while still shooting. The NX5R can record 1920 x 1080p footage at 59.94 fps using the XAVC S codec, which requires a minimum of 64GB SDXC card with 95MBs speed.

The NX5R can record 1920 x 1080p footage at 59.94 fps using the XAVC S codec.
Built-in Wi-Fi, NFC, and FTP allow you to send your footage to your editor while you are still shooting, so post-production doesn’t have to wait on the data cards being sent from the shoot.
The LED light features a roughly 90° beam angle, outputting a colour temperature of about 5500K. It has an integrated dimmer and includes a snap-on diffuser to soften the output.
The camera offers the latest generation imaging performance, with Full-HD progressive image capture rather than the interlaced output of the original HXR-NX5. Its three 1/2.8-type Full HD Exmor CMOS sensors provide 2.07 million effective pixel count at the 16:9 aspect ratio. Red, blue, and green light are independently captured by separate image sensors, contributing to high resolution, high sensitivity and wide dynamic range. An advanced LSI delivers remarkably lifelike images.
