Optical Features

Samyang 50mm T1.5 is a manual focus lens with a low T number.

Solid control when shooting in various exposure environments, also relatively dark or very bright situations.

This lens features 9 lenses in 6 groups including 1 glass aspherical lens (ASP) and 1 hybrid aspherical lens (H-ASP) to offer high resolution.

The H-ASP minimises colour aberration to create an exceptional image quality and high contrast for centre and corner of the image even when the aperture is fully opened.

Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) technology of Samyang Optics optimises the light penetration and minimises flare and ghost.

It has 0.45m of minimum focal length to take photos of subj

ects in near distance.

Hardware Features

It features a compact frame since it is made of high-strength aluminum so the images can be captured even under lower environment.

The attached petal-shaped lens hood protects the lens from unnecessary lights.

The 8 aperture blades are designed to be almost as a full circle when the aperture is closed which expresses starlike ray clearly.
