The Rode PG2-R is a Pistol Grip Shock Mount intended to diminish handling noise when recording with shotgun mics in boom-pole mounted or hand held applications.

Four Mounting Points

The Rode PG2-R Pistol Grip Shock Mount is furnished with dual Rycote Lyre mounts to warrant supreme seclusion from any handling vibrations, with four conceivable mounting points to suit the whole range of companionable Rode shotgun mics and a unified cable management clip.

The cushioned grip houses numerous cable mounting points, with a devoted space for the PG2-R Pro Cable XLR connector to terminate flush with the base for simple connectivity.

Enhanced Functionality & Ergonomics

The newly considered lightweight handle brings you enhancements in both functionality and ergonomics.

A heavy duty locking nut on the side of the handle safeguards smooth fine-tuning of your mic angle, whilst a 3/8″ thread at the base of the handle affords safe connection to microphone stands and boom-poles.
