Connect and Record – 4 XLR Microphone Inputs

Now you can record your first podcast within minutes. The 4 high-quality microphone channels are able to power studio condenser microphones as well as conventional dynamic microphones. The automatic level setting and one-touch recording to microSD card allow you to quickly connect microphones.

8 Sound pads for Jingles and FX

This product comes with 8 sound pads, for instant triggering of effects, music, jingles, applause and ads. You can record audio direct to the pads from any of the audio inputs, or simply drag and drop files from your computer using the supplied software. You can even select the colour you want for the pad illumination.

Echo-free phone calls Bluetooth, USB, TRRS Connectivity

The Rode Caster Pro allows you to connect your phone to it via Bluetooth or with a TRRS cable. It also provides a mix-minus to prevent echo and you can dedicate yourself to recording a perfect podcast without worrying to set up complex routing or cables.

Servo-biased Class-A Circuitry

It features pristine mic preamps and outputs feature Class-A circuitry. The Class-A preamps provide a great clean gain structure with lower levels of distortion. The Preamps are also servo biased, keeping distortion levels low and your signal broadcast-pure.

APHEX for Warmth and Tone

The world’s top processor as  APHEX Big Bottom and Aural Exciter are found in the Rode Caster Pro and the pristine signal can be now shaped with Aphex audio processing. The APHEX magic can be added to the music or speech audio from your Bluetooth, USB or TRRS connections.

The Rode Caster Pro’s touchscreen controls are very simple to navigate and use, with several presets for any type of microphone and any voice.

• High-pass filter, to eliminate low-end rumble
• De-esser, to lessen sibilance on “s” words

4 Discrete Headphone Outputs and Speaker Outs

It comes with 4 high-powered headphone outputs using discrete circuitry for clarity and presence. A switchable headphone limiter ensures no deafening spikes. Left and right TRS speaker outputs provide quality playback listening, or can feed a PA for an audience if podcasting live.

Record to microSD card or DAW

The Rode Caster Pro works as a standalone unit out of the box, recording direct to microSD card – so you can be up and running in minutes. You can connect it also to your computer via USB. This means you can also record your podcast to your favourite DAW or recording software.
