The Miller SOLO DV 20 offers incredible price-performance and ultra-light carbon support for 10lb XL-1 and 20lb DSR390 DVCAM payloads. Designed around the popular Miller DS20 with ‘flick-of-a-switch’ selectable counterbalance, SOLO DV 20 features a choice of 1/4″ & pin or 1/4″ & 3/8″ screw mounts with sliding quick release mount for lens and battery changes. The SOLO DV 2-Stage Carbon tripod complements this lightweight, true fluid drag support for all DVCAMcorder.
The DS20 fluid head with a payload up to 10kg provides an economical alternative for HDV/P2HD/XDCAM EX cameras using additional on board accessories or configured for small studio use. The dual position counterbalance allows balancing of cameras both in standard configurations or heavier configurations.
The 2-Stage telescopic Solo DV carbon fibre tripod is designed for the single operator: quickly and securely setting up to 1610mm (63″), packing down to a compact 700mm (27″) for transport; and hitting a low 234mm (9″). Selectable leg angle locks ensure rapid stabilisation at any height, while the 75mm diecast alloy bowl and fluid head bubble level offer quick leveling, optimum torsional rigidity, and durability under extreme field conditions.
