Overview

The Metabones MB-126 T Speed Booster ULTRA II 0.71x allows a Canon EF lens to be mounted onto a Sony E-Mount camera. While doing so, the adapter’s optics help to maximise the connected lens’s apparent angle of view by 0.71x while providing a 1-stop increase for the camera over the lens’s aperture range.

With the Metabones T Speed Booster Ultra 0.71x Adapter, Canon EF lenses can be attached to a Sony E-Mount camera. It reduces the crop factor from 2.0x to 1.4x to capture a 0.71x wider angle of view, effectively mitigating the crop factor of the APS-C sensor.

One Stop Aperture Increase

The adapter condenses light and projects a full frame image onto a APS-C sensor, providing a 1 stop increase of aperture over all of the lens’ f/stop settings. In doing so, it maximises the lens’ wide angle capabilities, giving you more compositional flexibility.
