The new LEDGO E268 Luxpad side lit LED panel light provides a soft light not possible with directional on-camera LED panels. The softness provides a flattering light wrap for close up video footage such as interviews. The softness of the light also makes it easier for the talent to look toward the light source without squinting. Light softness is achieved by angling the LEDs from the side of the LEDGO E268 Luxpad panel and then diffracting the light through the front diffusion panel LEDs.
The superior quality of the extra-large luminous chips gives higher brightness with the same energy consumption. It improves conversion efficiency, reduces power consumption, and increases battery life. The light includes a dimmer to adjust light output, and the light output is colour adjustable between 5600K and 3200K. The Luxpad features digital controls and is WiFi-enabled. At less than 1kg per light, this is a very portable, very lightweight off-camera lighting kit.
