A Unique & Adaptable Short-Telephoto Prime Camera Lens
Following up the success of the LAOWA 60mm f/2.8 2:1 Macro, LAOWA has now introduced the 100mm f/2.8 2:1 Macro camera lenses.
This is the 2nd member of the LAOWA 2:1 macro line-up.
This innovative 100mm lens can cover full frame sensor size and focus from 2:1 magnification to infinity.
With a comparable physical size to other 100mm Macro camera lenses in the marketplace but with twice the magnification.
No More Chromatic Aberrations
The 100mm portrait camera lens also features an apochromatic (APO) characteristic, which means that chromatic aberrations are invisible.
The 12 elements in 10 groups optical design delivers a crystal sharp image in both Macro and Infinity distances.
Thanks to a pair of low dispersion elements, Colour fringing and chromatic aberrations have been practically eradicated throughout the focusing range to attain high clarity and colour accuracy.
Work With Subjects As Close As 2:1
The lens’s manual focus design also suits its macro capabilities.
It permits working with subjects as close as 2:1 with a minimum focusing distance of 9.7″.
Additionally, a 9-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing ‘bokeh’ quality.
Manual focus design, along with focus distance and depth of field scales aid in precise focusing control.
Canon EF / Nikon F / Sony E mounts are offered.
