The Kinefinity MAVO Edge 8K Digital Cinema Camera is a carbon fibre full-frame cinema camera capable of industry-leading ProRes 4444 XQ internal recording. Capture 45-megapixel images at 45 fps to maximise resolution or freeze time with 2K/280 fps slow motion. Dual native ISO allows you to shape 14 stops of dynamic range around the highlights or lowlights, and its colour science is ready for your 3D LUT.
MAVO Edge 8K has universal KineMOUNT as the native mount. With KineMOUNT, you will get the maximum possibility for using different lenses even with different mounts: using different mounting adapters on demand. Besides, just like attaching a lens, it is very easy and fast to attach the adapter to KineMOUNT with no need of adjusting FFD.
Featuring internal motorized full-spectrum e-ND, more industry-standard ports and dual SSD media slots, Kinefinity brings Apple ProRes4444/XQ to the MAVO Edge as an in-camera codec to make the workflow easier. MAVO Edge 8K also provides dual 1.5G/3G SDI outputs with metadata and audio transmission, to enhance the compatibility with third-party accessories like external recorders and 1.5G monitors.
