The built in wireless transmitter/receiver combo enables seamless video transmission across other units in the M1 range, while also being compatible with the Hollyland Mars 400S Pro, Mars 300 Pro and Mars 4K wireless units. Using the HollyView app, the user can also monitor video output from mobile and tablet devices.

Supporting DCI/UHD 4K30 video input over HDMI, alongside HDMI loop output, the Mars M1 also includes SDI input for multiple broadcast frame-rates. The built-in HollyOS firmware includes scope views, peaking and 3d LUT storage.

Powered via a built-in L-series battery plate or via DC input, the Mars M1 can also provide DC output to power cameras or video accessories.
