The FlexScan EV2450 23.8″ 16:9 IPS Monitor from EIZO makes viewing easier on the eyes. EIZO has managed to reduce the flicker of the EV2450 by up to 74% without compromising other aspects of the display quality. In addition to reduced flicker, EIZO has also incorporated an ambient light sensor into the front of the monitor. This light sensor is able to detect minor changes in the lighting environment and adjusts the brightness of the display to create a more comfortable viewing experience.
This monitor uses an LED-backlit In-Plane Switching (IPS) LCD panel with 178° viewing angles that minimise colour shift and contrast changes when viewing the screen at an angle.
To prevent eye fatigue, a brightness sensor called Auto EcoView detects the changes in the ambient brightness that occurs throughout the day and automatically adjusts the screen to the ideal brightness level.
In a dimly-lit work environment, a monitor with low brightness settings is more comfortable to use. With its LED backlight, the FlexScan EV2450 is adjustable to 1 cd/m² which is less than 1% of the maximum.
ScreenManager Pro lets users adjust color and EcoView settings with the mouse and keyboard instead of the on-screen display menu. It also offers multi-monitor matching which allows adjustments to be applied to all FlexScan monitors connected to a single PC.
