Description
The Panasonic LUMIX GH7 comes with a wide range of new features on top of the internal RAW capabilities, including the all new SFU3 Upgrade Key, allowing video creators access to ARRI’s LogC3 for seamless colour matching with ARRI’s digital cinema cameras, alongside internal 5.7k 30p ProRes 422 recording, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), improved image stabilisation and 13+ stops of dynamic range. Offering 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p internal recording, the LUMIX GH7 also delivers unlimited recording time, with no inbuilt recording duration limits.
Combine the LUMIX GH7 with the optional DMW-XLR2 (sold seperately) for 32-bit float recording direct to the file, enabling incredible control over high-quality audio files. The body itself comes equipped with a built-in mic, capable of recording up to 48kz 24-bit audio.
Using the improved PDAF auto focus system, the LUMIX GH7 can now recognize a wider range of subjects and target parts to maintain focus at all times. This recognition can distinguish between human and animal eyes, the fronts of vehicles, the helmets of drivers and motorcyclists, the corners of objects and more .
Real-time LUT support enables LUTs to be applied directly in camera, allowing you to quickly visualise a final-product estimate before any elaborate post-production occurs. Supports “.VLT” and “.CUBE” file formats. Use the separately available LUMIX Lab app to quickly creature and install your own LUTs on the camera.
The updated Venus Engine features 75fps burst shooting, or up to 240fps variable framerate for slow-motion. The Venus Engine also limits rolling shutter, to ensure an accurate and undistorted final image.
In addition to internal recording to the CFexpress card, the GH7 supports 12-bit raw video output in 5.7K, DCI 4K, and Anamorphic 5.8K and 4.4K formats via HDMI when recording to Atomos Ninja V and V+ external recorders in ProRes RAW.
