Loads Flawlessly
Angelbird’s outline was easy – produce a CFast 2.0 memory card reader that can adjust to their workflow and malfunction since it was part of a failed multi-card unit. Encouraged by the functionality of mid-century modular design, like those stacking shelves you had at University, Angelbird established a professional grade, singular CFast card reader that loads flawlessly with their other card reader models, while still preserving the autonomy to move about as you please.
Guards Your Data
It is said that the intrinsic advantage of minimalism is peace of mind and mental clarity. With clean lines and a lustrous aluminium housing, Angelbird’s Solid Stack CFast single card reader aids in guarding your data against energy surges and risky environmental conditions such as heat and sun, subzero temperatures or x-rays. This card reader is great looking while being robust and it offers the mental clarity of knowing that your artistic work is protected.
Get Moving On Your Post-Production Workflow
By supporting unrestricted offloading speeds, Angelbird’s CFast single CF card reader will get you moving on your post-production workflow without the painful wait. But its true benefit, however, may just lay with the adaptability of its Solid Connect recessed connectivity port, which helps guarantee steady and continuous data transfers, while defending against cable wear and tear. It is even materially and electrically companionable with Thunderbolt 3, along with past and present connection standards and interfaces, such as:
- USB Type-C to Type-A
- 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2
- USB Type-C to Type-C
Made For Quick Assimilation
Built with a modular design that stacks flawlessly with their other card reader models, the CFast 2.0 Memory Card Reader from Angelbird is made for the quick assimilation of CFast 2.0 media. It attaches to your host Linux, Windows or Mac system using a USB Type-C port, which operates using the 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 standard. If your system does not support USB 3.1 Gen 2, there is backward compatibility with other USB standards. Additionally, since the USB Type-C port shares the same interface as Thunderbolt 3, this card reader can be directly linked to Thunderbolt 3 ports. To further aid in system connectivity, both a 19.7″ USB Type-C to Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A adapter are included.
No Extra Cables Or Power Supplies Needed
Angelbird’s CFast 2.0 Memory Card Reader is bus powered, meaning it accepts power straight from your system’s host USB or Thunderbolt port, with no extra cables or power supplies needed. Thanks to a robust aluminium housing, their Solid Stack design aids in protecting your data from energy surges, as well as environmental conditions and x-rays. Angelbird also built the USB Type-C port with Solid Connect recessed connectivity, which helps to guarantee steady and continuous data transfers, as well as defend against cable wear and tear.
Guard Your Content From Being Unintentionally Deleted
Lastly, a built-in write protect switch helps guard the content on your CFast 2.0 media from being unintentionally deleted.
